In a pre-war Paris bistro, two of the century’s greatest figures meet - painter Pablo Picasso and physicist Albert Einstein. Both are on the verge of realizing their greatest achievements. They exchange views on painting, love, life, the universe, and everything else, assisted by an eclectic collection of bar regulars, the bistro owner, his mistress, and various folks dropping in for a refreshing drink. This is the first stage play written by comedian Steve Martin.
